Shopify says AI search is boosting, not replacing, shopping traffic. AI agents better match buyer intent to products, sending users directly to product pages and improving conversions—especially for smaller merchants—helping Shopify beat revenue expectations.
Elon Musk’s Grokipedia, pitched as an AI-powered Wikipedia rival, appears stagnant. Lawfare found no accepted or rejected edits since April, despite thousands of suggestions. The lack of updates raises questions about xAI’s commitment and the project’s viability.
Researchers found widespread critical flaws in server motherboard controllers (BMCs) from major vendors, enabling remote backdoors and persistent compromise. Many are Internet-exposed and unpatched for years. Admins should scan, patch, disable IPMI where possible, and isolate management networks.
