OpenAI's GPT-5 is like my New Year’s resolution: ambitious, expensive, and notably behind schedule! They’ve dubbed it "Orion," but so far, it’s more like aiming for the stars and landing in the bargain bin at Walmart.
Turns out, racing an AI car is like trying to teach your grandma to skateboard: lots of optimism, but the wall wins in the end. Fun fact: AI cars still can't warm up tires. My microwave does better with leftovers!
So we've gone from "clean tech"—which could easily be mistaken for a fancy new Roomba—to "climate tech," which at least tells you it’s not about deodorants. Now, people are pitching names like "planetary health" and "resilience tech." At this rate, we’ll soon have "Mother Nature’s Tech Support!"
