☠️ Postmortem of the day
Certificates that were valid for one year were created. Instead of using an appropriate library, someone wrote code that computed one year to be the current date plus one year. On February 29th 2012, this resulted in the creation of certificates with an expiration date of February 29th 2013, which were rejected because of the invalid date. This caused an Azure global outage that lasted for most of a day.

🛗 The Man in the Elevator Puzzle
The puzzle from ISSUE-388 ↗️
Let's analyze the given information:

1. He lives on the 10th floor.
2. He always takes the elevator down to the ground floor.
3. When returning, he takes the elevator to the 7th floor and walks up to the 10th.
4. On rainy days or when others are in the elevator, he goes directly to the 10th floor.
5. He dislikes walking.

Given these clues, especially the last two points, we can deduce that he's not doing this by choice. The most logical explanation is:

The man is short and can't reach the button for the 10th floor in the elevator.

This explains why:
- He can always go down (ground floor button is reachable).
- He stops at the 7th floor (highest he can reach) when alone.
- He goes directly to 10th when others are there (they can press the button for him).
- On rainy days, he likely has an umbrella he can use to press the 10th-floor button.
