Big Tech is racing to replace today’s vulnerable RSA/ECC with post-quantum cryptography before “Q‑Day,” when powerful quantum computers can break them. Google and Cloudflare pulled their target forward to 2029, pressuring slower rivals as authentication—not just encryption—emerges as the real crisis.
Creative software rivals are aggressively targeting Adobe’s dominance and pricing. Major tools like Autograph, Cavalry, Affinity, and DaVinci Resolve are going free or cheaper, while Apple and others offer lower-cost suites, making a professional, non‑Adobe workflow increasingly realistic and attractive.
